Let’s take a quick peak at the CEFR levels below:
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, also known as the CEFR has 6 levels within the framework. With these levels, you can easily work out your language ability with around 40 different languages in terms of:
- Speaking
- Writing
- Reading
- Understanding a language
How great is that?
The A levels comprises of A1+A2. Students have the ability to use basic expressions, introduce themselves and are able to describe routines, family and immediate needs.
The B levels comprises of B1+B2. Students are more independent and have the ability to understand and explain vocabulary items of family, work or leisure. Students can also describe their personal experiences, dreams and have the ability to understand complex texts with an array of subjects.
The C levels comprises of C1+C2. Students are advanced speakers of a language, whereby they have the ability to understand demanding texts and conversations. They can express themselves well and can handle themselves in social situations with ease. Finally, these students can understand and express everything they have read or heard.

Beginners: A1
The English Voice A1 Taster is A LOT of fun. You will cover different aspects of grammar for beginners including adjectives. In addition, you will be learning about different types of animals and best of all, you will practise using your English Voice to describe animals.
Elementary: A2
The English Voice A2 Taster is slightly more advanced than the A1 taster. Throughout this taster, you will explore different vocabulary concepts such as, family members and you will gain the confidence to use your English Voice to use present perfect sentences.
Intermediate: B1
Throughout the English Voice B1 Taster, you will have a clearer understanding of various actions around the home such as, tidying and cleaning up. In addition, you will use your English Voice to use the present continuous tense with ease. And finally, you will learn everyday actions and be tested when to use the correct tenses for different situations.
Upper-Intermediate: B2
Throughout the English Voice B2 Taster, you will learn when to use positive and negative question tags, which will equip you to communicate effectively with your friends, family members or colleagues. In addition, you will practice using your English Voice on making decisions and showing your preference towards certain things.
Advanced: C1
Throughout the English Voice C1 Taster, you will learn and identify different vocabulary items related to clothing and clothing idioms such as, “Never judge a person until you’ve walked in their shoes.” In addition, you will be able to train your English Voice with past tenses and know when and how to use each one successfully.
